Watch The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I had high hopes going into New Moon. It was my favorite book in the series so I wasn't sure what to expect from the movie. I'm still not entirely sure what I thought.

Yes, Robert Pattinson was as beautiful as ever as our beloved, tortured vamp Edward Cullen, and Taylor Lautner's werewolf body was just as hot as promised, but I felt so much about the book was changed to appeal to a wider audience. Unnecessary fight scenes are thrown in, some of my favorite parts of the book are left out and everything seems rushed and forced.

That said, I didn't hate the movie. I have to wonder if I would've liked it more had I not read the book first. I wasn't completely let down, after all. There were some great moments that I laughed out loud, the special effects on the wolves were better than I expected and Edward's skin actually appeared to glow instead of just looking sweaty.

I'm a little conflicted about posting the movie to watch here, in all honesty. It's not great quality, but for those of you that can't afford tickets to the movie or have already seen it and just want to watch it again, this is a great way to do it. That said, buy the DVD when it comes out, folks. It'll be worth it!
